Monday is a lifesaver for our team!

Got a sweet deal through their non-profit discount, which saved us a bunch. We were looking for something to manage our projects and Monday.com has been fantastic. Adding more seats was super easy right from the admin settings, so we got our guest users in no time. Definitely recommend it for team collaboration!

Anyone else love Monday for resource management?

Monday is amazing for keeping projects on track, especially with those formula columns!

Monday is pretty great, but not cheap

so i got monday.com for my non-profit, and the discount for them is super helpful. we use it for all our project tracking and the gantt charts feature is a lifesaver for planning. the mobile app is also really good when i'm out of the office. it's definitely made our workflow smoother, but even with the non-profit rate, it's still a significant chunk of our budget. wish there were more public promo codes available instead of just the referral links.

Great value with annual billing

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal. Opting for the annual billing instead of monthly saved me a good chunk of change, like 20%, which was a big plus. The 14-day free trial helped me confirm it was a good fit for my small team's task management before I committed. It felt like a smart purchase overall, got a lot of features for what I paid.

Workflow automation is a game changer

I set up a bunch of workflow automations for our marketing campaign management, and it's brilliant! My team used to get bogged down with manual updates, but now it all just… happens. So much time saved, everyone's happier. I'm definitely subscribing again next year and telling all my project manager friends about this.

Consistent performance for dev teams

We've been using monday Dev for our software development sprints for over a year now. This latest renewal for our annual plan was smooth, just like always. The team depends on the kanban boards and integrations daily. It's reliably good, and that's why we keep coming back. No surprises, which is exactly what you want from project software.

Solid, but could improve integration

I purchased the monday Work Management plan to get a handle on our team tasks. The custom dashboards are excellent for data visualization, and the time tracking works as expected. I do wish the integration with some of our other tools, like a specific accounting software we use, was a bit more robust out of the box. We had to use a workaround for now. But for the price and core features, it's a strong tool for project management.

Does Monday have a free version, or is it strictly paid after the trial? Just need it for some personal task management.

B Barbara Gomez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, there's a free version! It's pretty basic but fine for personal stuff. Limited on features but good enough to get started.

M Michelle R. 2 weeks ago
They do have a free tier but it's pretty limited on users and features. If you just need a simple to-do list, it works, but for anything more serious, you'd want a paid plan.

My company is a non-profit. Do they offer any special pricing for us?

M Michelle Harris 2 weeks ago
Definitely! My friend works for a charity and they got a pretty sweet discount. You usually have to apply for it though, not automatic.

E Eric Davis 2 weeks ago
Yes, they have a dedicated non-profit discount. You'll need to contact their sales or support team directly with proof of your non-profit status to get it applied.

Hey guys, thinking of switching our project management tool. How does Monday compare to ClickUp for a small design agency? We mostly do client work and need good visual tracking.

A Abigail Evans 3 weeks ago
I've used both! Monday's visual stuff, especially the kanban and gantry things, feels a bit more polished out of the box. ClickUp has a ton of features but can get overwhelming fast.
5
T Tim 2 weeks ago
Totally depends on your team's vibe. Monday feels a little more intuitive for visual folks, ClickUp has more customization but a steeper learning curve.

Anyone know if Monday does promo codes often? Trying to get my team on it but budget is tight.

S Sofia P. 1 month ago
Not really, like, regular public coupon codes. They do a 14-day free trial though, that's what we used to test it out.
5
T Thomas Torres 1 month ago
From what I remember, any 'promo codes' are usually tied to specific referral links, not something you just find floating around. Best bet for discounts is usually annual billing or if you're a non-profit/school.

Is it easy to upgrade or downgrade plans on Monday if our team size changes or we need more features? Don't want to get locked in.

R Richard Miller 1 week ago
Super easy. I've done it a couple of times. It just adjusts the billing period, no big drama.

S Susan Lewis 1 week ago
Yeah, you can change your plan pretty flexibly. They want you to stick around so they make it straightforward to scale up or down as your needs evolve.

How much can I save if I pay annually instead of monthly for a Monday subscription?

P Patricia Davis 3 weeks ago
I think it's around 18-20% cheaper if you go for the yearly plan. That's what we do, it adds up.
4
A Aaron Wilson 3 weeks ago
Yeah, typically you save a decent chunk, like almost a fifth of the cost, if you commit to annual billing. It's their standard discount for longer commitments.

Hey, anyone know if Monday accepts PayPal? Or is it just credit cards for payment?

R Rachel R. 2 weeks ago
I'm pretty sure it's mostly credit cards. I haven't seen a PayPal option when I paid.
3
A Andrew 2 weeks ago
I've only ever used a credit card with them. I don't recall seeing PayPal as an option on the payment page, but you could always check their site directly.

what's the difference between monday CRM and monday Work Management? they both seem to do similar things like tracking tasks.

K Katie Taylor 3 weeks ago
monday CRM is specifically built for sales and customer pipelines, like tracking leads and deals. Work Management is more general project stuff, not focused on customer relationships.
1
A Abigail R. 3 weeks ago
Think of Work Management as the general toolbox for any kind of project. CRM is a specialized toolbox just for your sales process, client interactions, and keeping track of opportunities.
